The Tide Mill Yacht Harbour

The Tidemill Yacht Harbour is a long established development within the natural landscape. It remains a place where families can moor their boat and relax and enjoy the gentle, unspoilt surroundings at their leisure. There are plenty of waiting buoys off the well marked entrance, to accommodate early arrivals with an accurate tide gauge, marked in metres on the port hand side to give the depth over the sill. At HW Springs the sill has an average depth of around 2.5 metres. The Harbour provides finger pontoons and the sill ensures that, although the river may be merely fordable at low water springs, there is still enough water in the harbour for vessels up to 2 metres to remain afloat at all states of tide.
