The waterfront in Sunderland has been transformed in recent years by extensive redevelopment including the impressive marina complex at North Dock. Originally constructed by Brunel in 1837, the Dock has been renovated and extended to provide the modern marina we now enjoy. Sunderland Marina aims to provide top class facilities combined with friendly, efficient service. The Marina is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round and is dedicated to provide a personal service to all users and their families. The Marina consists of 113 fore-and-aft moorings, 26 un-serviced berths and 88 fully serviced pontoon berths.

The marina of Port Canto is locaed in the famous city of Cannes and has 650 berths including 100 for visitors.

Port de Menton Garavan is a modern marina very near the Italian border in the Bay of Garavan, with views of the old town.

The town of Zumaia belongs to the historical territory of Gipuzkoa, and is one of the most important towns on the Basque coast. Its port is located in the interior of a natural bay formed by the mouth of the river Urola.

In recent years there has been significant work on improving access, ensuring a depth of 5 meters at low tide at the mouth and 3.5 meters along the channel. In this bay sheltered from the prevailing winds from the NW, is the modern marina of Zumaia with a capacity of 548 boats of up to 15 meters.

Bray Marina is situated in a country park setting, providing berth holders with a delightfully tranquil mooring. From the marina there is direct access to the Thames and there are extensive well-maintained facilities available for all boat owners. There are many attractions in the vicinity. Upstream is the National Trust property, Cliveden, with its extensive gardens and woodlands. Cookham is home of the Queen's Swan Keeper, who can sometimes be seen in his traditional costume. Further on still is Hambledon Mill; from here the river is navigable as far as Lechlade. Downstream lie the historic towns and villages of Windsor, Eton, Datchet and Runnymede.

Bangor Marina is situated on the south shore of Belfast Lough, close the Irish Sea cruising routes. The marina has become well known since it opened for providing a safe berth in the centre of Bangor, a highly attractive town with many places to visit. Bangor Marina is operated by Quay Marinas under a 15 year licence granted by North Down Borough Council.
