The City of La Coruna has enjoyed a vocation for sailing going back to Roman times. Numerous peoples and cultures have brought to this city a rich legacy manifested throughout its history, its traditions as well as its artistic heritage. The Rias of La Coruna and Ares meet splendid conditions for sailing which, thanks to their geographical position are compulsory ports of call for those leisure boats headed towards the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and the Caribbean Seas. The sailing facilities operated by Darsena Deportiva de La Coruna since 2002 are situated in a privileged area in La Marina, in the very centre of the historical quarter of the town. Our port has a total of 350 berths for boats of up to 30m length, offering all the services a sailor will need.
