Lawrence Cove Marina Lies 51.38N, 9.50W, and nestles in the shelter of Bere Island in Bantry Bay, in the backdrop of Dauphne du Maureir's Hungry Hill. Here is totally unspoilt and underdeveloped cruising country with scenery and sunsets that will take your breath away. Magnificent Adrigole, Glengarriff and Bantry are just a few cables away. While just around Mizen head is the Fasnet rock and the well sailed and popular ports of Crookhaven , Schull and Baltimore. To the north are the more adventurous , quieter waters of the Kenmare river and Dingle Bay.

The harbour entrance faces south east and is protected from the prevailing winds, it is 80 meters wide and dredged to 4.5 meters under LAT. The marina is protected by two main breakwaters. One in the south and the other north-east. Opened in 1990, Saint-Quay Port d'Armor continues its programme of improvements and modernization. The northern part of the harbour is dedicated to the fishing fleet.

Originally built by Sir Robin Knox Johnston, Mercury Yacht Harbour is situated in a sheltered wooded site where the shallow waters of Badnam Creek join the River Hamble. Just a 20 minute walk from Hamble village, the marina offers berthing for 360 boats and enjoys deep water at all states of tide. Among its excellent facilities are a chandlery as well as a bar and restaurant with waterfront views. There's always activity on the River Hamble, with fleets of racers out every weekend during the summer. Mercury Yacht Harbour also provides an ideal base from which to visit some of our other marinas in the Southampton area. Nearby Ocean Village Marina boasts two cinemas along with restaurants and bars; a wide range of marine services are available at Shamrock Quay and Hamble Point Marina.
