Plymouth Yacht Haven is located on the historic Mount Batten peninsula. From 1917 until recently, Mount Batten was in the hands of the RAF, gaining worldwide fame during the Second World War as a base for flying boats. Located in Clovelly Bay, at the mouth of the Cattewater, the marina is sheltered from the prevailing south westerly winds yet is only minutes from one of England's finest natural harbours, Plymouth Sound. From here the choice is yours, a day's sailing to Salcombe, Fowey, Torquay or Dartmouth; a longer passage taking in Falmouth, Penzance and on to the Isles of Scilly; the Channel Islands or to the north and west coast of France. Deep water throughout the marina allows freedom at all states of tide. In rough weather, Plymouth Sound and local rivers allow for hours of sheltered scenic sailing.

East Cowes Marina is a modern purpose-built marina in a superb location at the heart of the Solent. Laid out along the eastern bank upstream from the chain ferry, the marina occupies a sheltered stretch of the Medina River. With 235 resident berths and up to 150 visitor berths, there is the capacity to accommodate rallies and group bookings, as well as catering for the island's major events including Cowes Week and Round the Island Race.

Today Lymington Yacht Haven is one of the most popular destinations for yachtsmen in the South Coast. It is supported by the Haven Boatyard, which provides a comprehensive range of marine services, including hoist and scrubs, engine servicing/repairs, rigging specialists and chandlers and dry berthing from its nearby Haven Quay site. The Marina's Haven Restaurant enjoys panoramic views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight and offers fine cuisine. There is also The Royal Lymington Yacht Club, Lymington Town Sailing Club and 2 excellent pubs are only a few minutes walk away.Site facilities include trolleys, excellent showers/toilets and laundry.
