Overlooking the marina is The Royal Southampton Yacht Club which, although a members club, offers berth holders and visitors a warm and friendly welcome. The basin, formerly used for commercial ships, is deep enough to offer mooring facilities for tall ships and large yachts and has become famous for hosting the start and/or finish of around the world yacht races such as the BT Global Challenge. From the marina, there is direct access to superb and varied cruising. To the west is the picturesque Beaulieu River and the surrounding New Forest.

Originally built by Sir Robin Knox Johnston, Mercury Yacht Harbour is situated in a sheltered wooded site where the shallow waters of Badnam Creek join the River Hamble. Just a 20 minute walk from Hamble village, the marina offers berthing for 360 boats and enjoys deep water at all states of tide. Among its excellent facilities are a chandlery as well as a bar and restaurant with waterfront views. There's always activity on the River Hamble, with fleets of racers out every weekend during the summer. Mercury Yacht Harbour also provides an ideal base from which to visit some of our other marinas in the Southampton area. Nearby Ocean Village Marina boasts two cinemas along with restaurants and bars; a wide range of marine services are available at Shamrock Quay and Hamble Point Marina.

Northney Marina is situated on the north shore of Hayling Island within Chichester Harbour, one of Europe's largest natural harbours. The harbour's sheltered waters provide safe cruising and there are plenty of anchorages to explore within the area, such as Itchenor with its quaint pubs or Bosham village. The facilities at this 228 berth marina are excellent. There is a relaxing customers' lounge and sunny outside terrace as well as a shop selling essential items. The modern facilities building also includes plentiful showers and toilets, disabled facilities and a launderette along with an office/reception.

Haslar is a modern purpose-built marina situated in a superb location within Portsmouth Harbour near Gosport at the eastern end of The Solent. The marina was built in response to a demand for quality berths within quick and easy reach of open water. Emsworth is a friendly marina situated on Chichester Harbour. Our sheltered site has nearly 200 pontoon berths for yacht and motor boats with facilities for boat storage ashore and boat movement. Visiting yachtsmen are welcome. The Emsworth Cruising Association was founded in Emsworth Yacht Harbour and a significant proportion of its members are still with us. The marina was created in 1964 from a log pond and is within walking distance of the attractive village of Emsworth in Hampshire. The village has a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants while on site services include a chandlery and an outboard specialist.
